Ducasse takes over at Le Meurice
Michelin-starred French chef Alain Ducasse is now in charge of the kitchens at the Dorchester Collection’s Le Meurice, one of Paris’ most iconic hotels
French chef extraordinaire Alain Ducasse has taken over the kitchens at the Dorchester Collection’s Le Meurice, one of Paris’ most iconic hotels.
The legendary chef, who has a constellation of Michelin stars to his name (33 to date), will be responsible for revamping the menus in Restaurant Le Meurice (above) and Restaurant Le Dali, while his three-Michelin-starred restaurant at sister property Plaza Athénée is closed for refurbishment.
“In view of the closure of Hotel Plaza Athénée in order to expand it, I have the marvellous opportunity to continue offering contemporary French cuisine at Le Meurice,” said Ducasse.
“My philosophy still remains the same: a cuisine that concentrates on the essential with taste at its forefront.”
As well as these locations in Paris, Ducasse also runs Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester in London, as well as top restaurants in Las Vegas, Monte-Carlo, Hong Kong, Doha and Osaka.
